WHO?
The Old Leightonians Cricket Club was formed in 1977, and
has enjoyed over 30 years of jovial cricket.
All players are Old Leightonians, having attended Leighton Park School in
Reading for a minimum of one day, and without expulsion for gross immorality.
Alternatively a few individuals, having been recognised for exceptional contributions
to the club, have become honorary members. The club has played in 21 counties,
several countries, and against opposition of all standards.
Statistics are an important part of OLCC club life to many. If you have trouble
with mental arithmetic, consult this calculator.
WHERE?
Can you guess? In Reading. Less than half the club's games
are played here, on what has been over the years a first-class wicket set
in many acres of beautiful parkland. The club has a rich and varied touring
culture which sees Norfolk, the East Midlands and Saumur, France as the current
theatres.
