WHY DOES IT ALWAYS RAIN ON ME?
09/06/02: The rain had the last say again as the OLCC's fixture against Jordans was abandoned as a draw.
Having won the toss, captain Paul Chalmers opted to bat and watched his side reach 54 for two from 16 overs before the weather intervened.
Some members appeared keen to call it a day as soon as possible to avoid a Mickey Mouse match, but skipper Chalmers waited until the last possible moment before totally ruling out a resumption.
It meant that the OLCC had been frustrated by the weather for the second consecutive game, following the cancellation of the Middleton Stoney fixture as the result of a waterlogged pitch.
