TOUR OF DUTY

24/08/03: An elite squadron of 16 OLCC players is currently preparing for the 22nd West Country Tour of Duty.

Tour managers Phil Samuels and Chris Straw have assembled a crack unit ready to take on four tough assignments on the battlefields of Somerset, starting at Uplyme on Tuesday 26 August.

Further assignments will follow at Sherborne (Wednesday 27), Axminster (to face the Wessex Stags on Thursday 28) and Ditcheat (Friday 29), while the tour HQ will initially be The Old Stagecoach Inn in Crewkerne before relocating for a one-night stay at the Hood Empire in Butleigh Wootton.
