Tedster's occasional bad temper and propensity to sulk are a great source of
mirth amongst OLCC colleagues, his cricketing ability is even more prized and
appreciated. When batting, Tedley is an unerringly good judge of how to pace
an innings, while his bowling makes him a regular choice to spearhead the attack,
now that the days of not (tea) bagging the wickets he deserved are behind him.
As
illustrated here, Sir Richard has inherited his father's ability to attract
nicknames and may well overtake his esteemed parent in that statistic one day.

Few would suspect that within the well-mannered, fresh-faced person of young
Edward Graham Vincent Carter - eldest son of OLCC President Graham Carter and
one of the club's Honorary Members - lies a Jekyll-and-Hyde character whose
contrast in temperament between the humdrum of everyday life and the highly-charged
atmosphere of OLCC cricket matches would have been dismissed as an untenable
suspension of disbelief by no less a figure than Robert Louis Stevenson himself.
