Behind a cheerful, quiet and calm exterior lurks an inner demon, clawing to emerge to to smash opposition bowlers out of the park and strike fear into the opposition with a cunning array of bone breaking beamers.
Son of the club President, little Tommy Carter has played for the OLCC almost since birth but surprisingly retains an excellent batting technique and is a sprightly athlete in the field and between the wickets.
Never one for rash utterances or speaking out of turn, Raymond van Tomley is nevertheless a tour stalwart; whether it is accompanying and encouraging more boisterous members in their nightly jollity, sharing a double bed with his brother or assisting on any number of pranks at the expense of his Dad. In time and with serious application he could yet become a mild eccentric.
Holds all kinds of club records and scores mountains of runs, it's high time he gave up ideas of playing for other clubs to concentrate seriously on OLCC cricket.
